Making Progress: 5K Update

I am working on some of the long term things on my list like read a classic novel and train for a 5K. Both of these things take time. So instead of procrastinating, I decided to hold myself accountable to my 5K goal by actually signing up for a 5K.

One of my Mom's uber-awesome running friends told me that the only way she knew she was going to run was by actually signing up for 5Ks.

Ipso Facto, I signed up for TWO just to be safe.

(There aren't any in more in my area I can make it to this summer, so I'm going to my "town-away-from-home-town-town")

They are in late July/Early August so I will have time to train!

First Step...

So, one of my favorite movies is "Julie and Julia," where a woman decides to take a year and makes all the recipe's in Julia Child's "The Art of French Cooking." This along with a few people I know blogging has inspired me to Blog! I also wanted to have something to work with (like her recipe book) a to-do list if you will. I saw a List of 100 things to Do this Summer on Pinterest. I thought to myself, I'll do this and blog about it. I made my own list by borrowing from other list, picking thing from my state and adding in a few things I am already going to be doing ;). Here is my list, in no particular order. I will share them with you in the order that I do them and talk about my experiences. I am looking forward to an exciting memorable in my final journey before adulthood.  Hope you enjoy!
